(More customer reviews)I purchased the radio ranger 32 in. boat as a Christmas present for my fiance who had been looking for such a remote control boat that could be used for fishing. I was hesitant to buy over the internet but I really trust Amazon. My gift arrived two days after purchase. It was quite large but had everything the ad stated. In fact I thought too large, but my fiance loved it. Several days after Christmas before our freeze here in Pa. we took it to a lake and let it fly, it really was fun. My fiance had a question regarding the boat and he called the company and they answered his questions and were very nice. On our first day out with the boat alot of people came up to us to tell us what a great looking boat it was. The men particularly enjoyed watching. In the spring/summer we will try out the fishing pole. Very pleased with this remote control boat and would recommend.

Love the red color, it sets this set apart from cheep plastic kits. Put the strings for the net and polls stakes through the hole then wrap the strings around the poll two or three times and the net will stay up nice and strong. Shuttlecocks are ok to get you started but you may want better ones. I bought Head 500 to go along with the set for about 6 dollars. Very happy with this product.

This one doesn't secure the upper pole to the lower one, meaning the whole weather instrument can be lifted off VERY Very easily. also, the spider spindle has zero locking system, meaning zero stability. And if they had just made the third leg telescoping, install would take 4 minutes, as opposed to 3 hours. DO NOT BUY. Get the simple Davis mounting pole and save yourself the hastle. You're going to be on a roof, how long do you really want to be up there? Also, none of the bolts and nuts were the size described in the instructions. Actually, none were either standard OR metric sizes. I have never run across that before. If you get this, dont bother leveling the tripod, this design is poor, and a level & plumb tripod will not ensure a level & plumb upper pole or unit. The weather instrument (VANTAGE VUE) is 6-stars, the tripod....a total bust.

(More customer reviews)My wife and I went camping to an isolated beach quite far inside Brazil, they were charging for a rented tent about US$ 100 a night, so I decided to bring my own tent there, and I bought this one only for it's price and low weight.
What a pleasant surprise it was, we setted it up in 10 minutes during the night (first time camping for us), it was spacious enough for the queen size inflatable bed and two suitcases, even with wind and two big thunderstorms with rains the tent never fainted, only about 10 drops of water fell from the seams, but that was all, we stayed in it 5 nights, of course a bigger tent would have been better, but for the price and the weight (I had to travel 4 countries by plane + 5 hours in bus) it definitely was the best deal.

Coleman Tent Light Review

(More customer reviews)This is a really nice piece of camping kit, as it "clips" with the magnet to any part of your tent in seconds. (It's got a pretty strong magnet bar, which goes on the outside of your tent, and the metal bracket of the light anchors it on the inside.) At first I wondered if the tight contact of the light would cause the tent to leak, and so far the answer has been a very clear and dry no, on many tents of different fabric.
The light is incandescent, inside a traditional sealed bulb. I have had no problem with the light or bulb in the 3+ years I've owned this light. The lens diffuses the light nicely, so if you put this light at the crown of your tent, you will have light throughout.
My only problem with this unit is that it's kind of big and bulky. It's not that heavy, even with the four AA batteries installed, but it's kind of large. In a camping world in which we've got wind-up LED systems and increasingly smaller lights which provide more and more light, I would think that an up-tech'd version of this light could be smaller and throw out more light. If you're doing backwoods trekking where every ounce counts, this is probably not the solution you need. But if you're doing family camping, car camping, or going to camps that have existing tents (summer camps, scout camps), then this is a really fantastic piece of gear.

Now about a year on, here are additional comments on this piece:
It continues to function just fine, but I have one complaint. I do not store this unit with batteries in it, so each time I go camping I open the case to install and then later remove the batteries.
(The case opens by way of gently pinching the two sides together at the lamp's waist, between the on/off switch and the lower magnetic housing. There are no locks, screws, springs or mechanical latches; the two parts of the lamp are kept together only by the plastic flex of the upper lamp housing itself.)
After a year of easy and careful use the upper plastic housing around the pinch points has started to crack. The unit still works just fine (I just got back from a week in the woods), but it's only a matter of time now until the housing splits or a large chunk of the plastic comes off, preventing the unit from coming together and thereby ruining it.

The cracks at the waist are slightly bigger, and slowly growing. The light still works fine, and just served me well on yet another campout, but the day is coming when that plastic housing breaks permanently, and this light will be finished.

Another spring and summer gone, and this light continues to soldier on. It's still got its original bulb and all other original parts. No corrosion, no rust inside or out. No clouding of the plastic lens. The cracking of the waist area I mention above has stabilized somewhat, with no plastic pieces having come off. It still works great, and it'll be with me into another fall and winter of Scout camping.

(More customer reviews)I had high expectations for this backboard considering it was the one recommended by Spaulding since they did not have anything in stock for me to purchase direct. Amazon did a great job in getting it to us propmtly, and for free. As soon as I took it out of the box I knew this wouldn't last too long. It was fairly simple to replace the old broken backboard with this new one, a few bolts here and there. The problem is how cheap the "polycarbonate" backboard is. Topping in at a measly 1/8" thick board, I felt as if it should have said "Buyer Beware" on it. It has no reaction when a ball is shot against it rather all you hear is a resounding "THUD" and the ball falls straight down. The frame is cheaply made and has severe wobble to it when a shot is made. Even with 200 lbs of water in the base and the goal squatting at 8 foot, it has way too much movement. I suppose it will be fine for my 8 and 5 year old but I'm sure glad I didn't have a 3 on 3 tourney scheduled with the guys after receiving this.

In-Ground Systems In-ground systems are permanently cemented into the ground--either via a bolt mounting kit or directly into the ground--and are generally more rigid and take up less space than portables.
